Favorite Radiohead album: OK Computer, because it's amazing in every single way (Instruments, composition, lyrics, singing, art) every song on it is amazing, each song flows perfectly into the next, And the art is the best I've ever seen. I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings is my second favourite.
Favorite song: It changes a lot, but Paranoid Android is usually my all around favourite, 'cause each intrument is perfectly done, the lyrics and vocals perfectly capture Thom's mentalities, and it's a true testamant at what Radiohead can do, including putting 3 songs into one. Right now, my favourite song by them is Like Spinning Plates, the live version being my preferred one.
Favourite Member: Thom, 'cause of his amazing writing, composition, and voice. Johnny, however, I consider to be the most talented and versatile musician I've ever heard.
I've never been to a show, Since they've only been my favourite band for a little over 2 years and I'm only 16/have no money/no car, plus I live in Washington, USA. I plan on seeing them when they tour in a couple months.
I have 2+Gigabytes of them on my computer, all of their cds, almost all of their EPs, 4 full concerts, 10-15 videos, and I've read all of Stanley Donwood's work. Also, I use their lyrics in everything I do on the internet, i.e. headlines, captions, names.
This is gonna be hard, since I dunno how smart you guys are, but:
1) the "Disapointed people, clinging onto bottles" is from a time when Thom was in a pub, and everyone was giving him shit, so he imagined the floor disapearing, with only the bottles keeping the people from falling.
2)Like Spinning Plates is I Will played backwards, I'm sure you know that though.
3) Ed O'brien was only approached by Thom 'cause of his similiar appearance to Morrisey from The Smiths, and Johnny had to beg to be part of the band.
Current Music: Lucky(Live/Glastonbury 2003)
1. you need to make it friends only
2. thom stole jonnys 'h'
consider yourself part of this cult (ah so cheesy)
I've always heard about the LSP/I Will thing, but I've tried it, with both versions of I Will and both of LSP, and I just can't find it. Maybe they editted parts so changes didn't sound like complete crap? I dunno.
They added stuff to I Will, made it longer I believe. I have backwards versions of both of them, I Will is creepy.
